Together with ICTU, the ICT implementation organisation of the Dutch Government, the Europe Unit organises the `The Hague International Conference´. So far, two times per year. Each conference builds around the best practices of a specific country or organisation. Guest speakers from abroad are invited to share the experiences of their respective countries. In turn a panel of experts discusses the case and discusses the relevance for the Dutch situation.
Past HIC´s have looked at: Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Nordrhein-Westfalen, and the OECD (especially the eGovernment survey of The Netherlands). Each HIC results in a publication.
May 9th: Europe Day and the Implementation of policy
On May 9th the Europe Unit organised the seminar "De dag van Europa en de uitvoering". The seminar brought together Europe experts and decision makers and experts from government policy implementation agencies.
