Work visits are an important tool to gather insight on the experiences and approach of other countries. The Europe Unit has organised a number of work visits for a number of different clients. The approach is always focussed on a specific theme. As such work visits have been organised around:

- Coordination of eGovernment, for and including the State Secretary for the Interior (and eGovernment);
- Standardisation, for the Forum and Bureau standardisation of The Netherlands;
- Trust, regarding the relationship between private and government organisations in relation to ICT/eGovernment procurement, for the Ministry of Economic affaires and ICT Office.
