


Introduction
EU policies have an increasing influence on the use of ICT within the Netherlands’ administration. Legislation coming from the EU can have far-reaching consequences for ICT infrastructure and processing of data.
The EU Unit of HEC helps its clients to find assess and understand the impact the European Union has/ can have on their work. Best practices from other member states can be used as examples for developing an European Strategy.
The Europe Unit at HEC has developed the following activities:
Advice: tailor made and focused on challenges from and opportunities in Europe for Dutch Government organizations
Master Class: focusing on the impact of Europe on National implementation’s strategic ICT use
Publications: The Europe Unit regularly publishes on European developments and their impact on Dutch (e-)Government. An overview of these puiblications is presented here.
